Panhellenic Primary Recruitment will run Wednesday, January 14, 2026 through Monday, January 19, 2026.
Potential New Member 101 will be on January 13th, 2026 in person. This event is mandatory for all eligible particiapnts. Failure to attend this session in person will results in removal from the recruitment process, no exceptions.
January 14th and January 15th will be virtual, with in person events resuming January 16th through January 19th.
Registration Fees:
The registration fee to participate in primary recruitment is $25.
To help with academic verification, the final deadline to register is January 1, 2026 Late registrations past January 1, 2026 will not be accepted under any circumstance.
This fee is nonrefundable.
Joining a Panhellenic Sorority at Penn does have a financial cost. Each sorority has dues for membership to pay for the experience that comes with being part of the organization. More information about these costs can be found in the 2024-2025 Flipbook and will be shared during the Philanthropy Round of primary recruitment.
Accommodations and Accessibility Needs:

Schedule Conflicts:
If you believe that you will have a serious conflict with the recruitment dates and specific times, please fill out this conflict form to let us know. All conflicts must be submitted by 1/09/26 at the latest, but sooner is highly preferred for our schedule to be adequately adjusted. Please note that the Panhellenic Board will only approve serious scheduling conflicts, and conflicts surrounding extracurricular commitments will not be approved. Panhellenic will share excused conflicts with the chapters whose events you missed, but this does not guarantee you to be invited back to the chapters you missed. All times are listed in EST. If you miss more than 4 rounds in one day, then you will no longer be eligible to participate in Formal Recruitment.
We suggest returning to campus no later than the morning of Janauary 13, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements:
In order to be eligible for membership, a candidate must:
Be a full-time enrolled undergraduate student in good standing with the University of Pennsylvania.
Have at least 4.0 course units completed on their University of Pennsylvania transcript.
Have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.
Must register on Campus Director within respective timelines.
Please note: Individual chapters may impose additional academic requirements to the University standards listed above. Course credits and academic eligibility vary across undergraduate schools. If you are considering participating in recruitment, we encourage you to speak with your academic advisor.
